After infamous recent update the app constantly displays welcome tutorial screen to me, at least 2-3 times a week. I’m not even mentioning the overall “where’s this feature now”

After the recent upgrade to the new app, my experience only worsened. Let me explain my setup. I have a mesh network at home, and sometimes, switching between APs is not instant. The old app behavior in that case was that the video just stopped loading for a second, and then after a successful reconnect, it resumed playing. The new app's behavior is much worse. It throws an error about a problem with the network, and then you should manually tap the Retry button until it starts working again.

I purchased an IOS App activation and used it for a long time. Now plex invented remote pass. May i continue to use a feature I already payed without activating any other subscriptions? No! They force to use new remote pass. I assume an IOS App activation will vanish in few month. Greedy and stupid step. Going to quit using a plex.

It requires server upgrade which is not available at Synology package center :(( I know I can download server update and install it from their site, but it should be available directly from Synology package center. So it no longer possible to access your library with this update. “Thanks” plex 🤬

Для меня старая версия была удобнее. Сделайте хотябы возможность проигрывать домашнее личное видео, которые находятся в директории домашнего фото, как было раньше еа предидущей версии. Тогда все вилео отлично работало.

Now it is getting worse and worse. The new app looks better but functionality-wise this is a huge regression. No auto rotation, no zoom, unable to expand the video on full screen, etc.
