    So I bought Premium for a year, but for no reason the app started telling me to buy it again, claiming I no longer have access — even though I never canceled my subscription. And even if I had, I should still have three more months of Premium left. I contacted support but haven’t received any response, even though in the past they replied very quickly when I reported a bug. Really disappointed — I used to love this app, but this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a Premium subscription

    Once I had a few thousand words saved, the app started lagging and my phone got really hot. It’d be nice if the developers could make it run more smoothly when you have a lot of words. upd. Hi Michaela, Thank you for your response. This issue has been around for a long time, and DuoCards team is likely aware of it. Below are reviews from other users from 2023, 2024, and 2025: “The application is very laging. The impression is that the more words you add, the more brakes and crashes. I have an iPhone 13 pro. I already regret the subscription.” “Very good app, after add tones of cards it’s a little bit laggy after ~10 minutes of use - maybe there is an issue with memory leak? Need update to add black background instead white on ios 18 with dark theme icons.” “The app has been lagging terribly lately, I have the premium subscription and am really annoyed at how slow it’s been working and how often it crashes. Please do something about it.” Information for reproducing the problem: There are six sets of flashcards, each with about 500 words. When starting from the main screen by pressing Start, after swiping through a few dozen cards, the phone begins to heat up resulting in throttling and severe application slowdown. If the phone is charging, the issue appears faster and more severely, causing the interface to freeze for 1-2 seconds. iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 18.5.

    I’ve been using the app for over a year, and it started to feel boring… Pros: - Large library of words available through videos, flashcards, and texts - Great spaced repetition algorithm — you can just click through and learn, everything happens behind the scenes - Cool idea with the rewards and the mammoth! - Automated translation of added words (though not always perfectly accurate) - Good text-to-speech voice, with customizable options - Ability to add your own videos to the library, with subtitle translation Cons: - The library doesn’t get updated — if you have an advanced level, it gets boring - Managing your added flashcard collections is very inconvenient — for example, if I want to study a specific set - No option to practice writing the words (even though many users have requested this); the existing tool feels like an afterthought — not great… - No statistics - Too few review games — it gets boring

    The phrases with apostrophes don't working correct. It’s indicated incorrect spelling. But anyway, an application is great. Thank you, good job👍

  • Voice typing can be improved

    Great app in general, really enjoy it on a daily basis. But there is a room for improvement. I work on my pronunciation and often use voice typing and sometimes it doesn’t work correctly. I realize there are many homonyms and I do my best to pronounce clearly but still get some ridiculous, nonexistent words. Some times it’s pretty annoying.

    Скажіть, будь ласка, я скачала Вашу програму, прочитала вступ і виявила , що після сьомого безплатного дня, я повинна платити за рік суму, якої я зараз не маю. Якщо я не почала користуватися програмою далі, не відкривала урок, а одразу її видалили, то чи буде з мене списані гроші?

    Вибило мій аккаунт і усі мою 130+ днів разом з аккаунтом зникли, не можу зайти, вже перевстановлювала, і заново заходила, але тільки новий аккаунт створює. І тепер навіть в новий не заходить…а так додаток супер, кожен ранок вчила нові слова

    Все супер, прекрасное приложение, но ! Когда открываю его на макбуке не корректно работает, при работе с приложением в любой момент начинает бесконтрольно и быстро перелистывать слова в сторону знаю, в итоге получается что не выученные слова засчитываются как выученные, если можно , исправьте.
